August 2014 I was given the devastating news that I had Leukemia. This was hard to come to terms with but with my wife, family and huge network of friends I gained the courage to fight this disease.
For the next 3 1/2 months I received life saving care and treatment from the medical team on ward 10 of Belfast City Hospital. Without the level of care that these people gave me i wouldnt be here today.
I am doing Movember to raise money towards equipment that will make life easier on Ward 10. The nurses and Doctors are amazing people who deserve so much praise. I owe them my life, they gave me the chance to witness my son being born and for that i will be eternally greatful.
