As you may be aware, my dad became seriously ill on Tuesday 10th July and was admitted to the Critical Care Unit in Banbury Horton Hospital. It looked unlikely that he would survive, but thanks to the amazing care provided by the dedicated and hardworking team there, he is improving and although not currently out of the woods, nevertheless is on the (long) road to recovery and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I want to show my gratitude to the CCU and so will attempt to raise some money for the CCU by shaving my head on 30th September - which for a heavy metal fan who hasn't had a proper haircut in many years, is a pretty big deal!

The NHS is criminally under- funded, so please help me raise money for this vital and genuinely life-saving service.
