As many of you know, my Mum Alison is suffering with a degenerative condition Multiple sclerosis. (MS) is a condition which affects the brain and/or spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.
Since her diagnosis, mum has tried to keep positive but the pain is relentless and she can't even sleep at night!
It's a lifelong condition that can sometimes cause serious disability. Average life expectancy is slightly reduced for people with MS. Mum will have this condition for the rest of her life, but treatment is available for her to help reduce the everyday pain and hopefully a better quality of life for Mum 💗
