Next summer I am going to Fiji for 2 months to volunteer as a teacher with a small charity called Think Pacific. Think Pacific work closely with the Fijian government to improve the standards of education and increase the development of grass root sports throughout rural villages in Fiji. I will be spending most of my time in the village of Kandavu and will be the first Think Pacific team to visit this area, meaning the resources we are bringing will be crucial to the villagers.
The money raised will be used to fund sports equipment, school supplies and to generally work towards improving the standard of living in the village. Any money you can donate would be greatly appreciated by both myself and the families that I will be both helping and living with during my stay.
