1st few minutes, 1st game of the season and during a challenge Ray had his Tibia & Fibula broken and was taken to hospital. Ray has surgery tomorrow to have a disk fitted as his bones are not aligned properly. This will impact the recovery time and naturally as he is in year 11 will have a huge impact upon his studies prior to his G.C.S.E's. We are striving to raise enough funds to provide him with a Notebook or equivalent to allow private study in comfort during his recovery and also allow interaction with his friends and team mates during the time that he would otherwise be training and enjoying the beautiful game that has put an end to the season as it barely began.
