I am heading to Ghana in April for 3 weeks. Whilst I am there I will be working at an Orphanage helping with day to day activities and looking after the children.

This will be my 3rd trip to Ghana and I cannot wait to go. Ghana has a very special place in my heart and I love my time out there. In the past, money I have taken with me has been used to build a “playground” for the children and we have also arranged to take them on a weekend trip to the beach.

Without volunteers, they don’t get the opportunity to go to and they absolutely love it.

This year I am going further north, to a place called Kumasi. I have never been to this Orphanage before so I am not sure what their “needs” are. I won’t therefore know exactly how the money would be spent until I am there however I will update you all on my return. I’ll have a million photos
