A colleague of mine has recently had the very difficult experience of her daughter being stillborn. To compound this difficult experience the only place that she could be with her daughter was on the maternity wing, surrounded by other new families and new babies. She has committed herself to raising money specifically to get a bereavement suite built at the hospital we are all based in so that parents in this situation can spend time on their own with their newborn infant before they part company. As a team, we are attempting to assist with this by completing a "Team Triathlon". My part of this is a 5k swim, which in real terms is 200 lengths of a 25m swimming pool.
