Our Amazing Beautiful little Girl Honor was born on the 12 th January 2013 at 31 weeks weighing 3lb 5oz,We had suffered a feto maternal hemorhage.. Our perfect little baby was a poorly little girl,.And after loosing a lot of blood she had to have 2 blood transfusions,Mri scans showed Honor to have cystic changes on her brain and at 8 months old after seeing the consultant he told us the news that Honor had spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy,For any parent/Mother to be told that there child may never walk is heartbreaking,But all we ever thought is is that how incredibly lucky we was to have our precious baby and that she is our daughter and No matter what challenges came our way we would get through them,And that is exactly what we did..At 10 months old Honor rolled over for the first time,At 18 months old i will never forget the day she sat up on her own,even if it was only for a few seconds,Our girl was getting stronger.. At 2 and a half i sobbed and sobbed as she crawled across the room to me,and now at 4 and a half she can stand holding onto things and can take some steps with her walker,How Amazing is she ! Over the years I have been taking Honor to regular physio seasons,Hydrotherapy sessions,Private physio sessions,And she has also been attending stick and step since she was 10 months old,And they have helped Honor come on so much,And this year she has had 2 rounds of Botox injections at alderhey which unfortunately did not help..We are trying to raise £16000 for honor to have an operation called selective dorsal rhizotomy,This operation involves cutting some of the nerve fibres in her back to reduce the spasticity in her legs making them less tight and stiff for her to move,Although the surgeon can not guarantee it will make her walk,It will certainly make her more comfortable as the older and heavier she will get the more tighter her muscles will get making it even Harder for her to do things.She is our world,And all we ever want is for her to be happy and healthy,But to see the look on her face to maybe even stand on her own one day or take a few steps would be a dream come true..Anybody who knows My Honor knows what a determined,Bright,Smiley beautiful little girl she is,She is our world..
