On November 5th 2017 I will be taking part in the Winter Wolf and will become an ALPHA wolf runner. This will be my only Winter wolf I will have done and probably be my last as it will be a very cold and testing run. Check out what I am getting myself into at

I have some great family and friends who have joined me in my journey and supported me in completing three wolf runs this year and without them I doubt I would have done

This year taking part has been a challenge I hope it will be worth it in the end. I am running my final leg of this ALPHA challenge to raise money for the ‘Special Care Baby Unit’ that is now based at Russells Hall Hospital (previously Wordsley Hospital).

For those who know me know this unit has a special place in my heart. Back in 2002 and in 2004 they played a huge part in mine and my husband Paul’s life in saving both of our children’s lives. They decided to both grace us with their presence 9 weeks early and both spet the first 8 weeks of their lives on the unit being cared for by an amazing team of dedicated doctors and nurses. Without them our babies would not be with us today.

Since their birth I have tried to give something back to the hospital to say our thanks with sheets, blankets, premature baby clothes and I knit premature baby hats. I also raised £420 back in July 2015 and would love to match or make more this year.
