Story
Mabel is our beautiful 18 month old Olde Tyme Bulldog. She is a very special part of our family especially as she is an autism support dog for my autistic son who is 11. Samuel and Mabel share a very special bond and she gives Samuel emotional support when he is having difficulties. Unfortunately a few months ago Mabel began limping and appeared in quite a bit of pain. After several trips to the vet and x rays it was revealed that Mabel has doggy osteoarthritis in both of her legs and her cruciate ligaments have worn away. We are all devastated at this news as it means Mabel cannot go for walks or stand for long periods , she cannot even play with her doggy brother Hugo and is on pain killers full time for the pain. The cost for her operation will be just under £5000 which we need to raise to get this doe as soon as possible. We did have insurance and did the right thing but the insurers say that because she was born with the condition even though we didnt know about it they wouldnt pay out. Please can you help our Mabel even if you could spare just a £1 . Please share our story with your friends and family .
Samuel is distraught that his 'Mabes' is poorly and he is asking a special please to anyone who can help us get her back on her feet and free from pain.
Thankyou
