Story
My first Hackney Half Marathon for London LGBTQ+ Community Centre
Hello everybody! I have been training for a few months now to run my first Hackney Half Marathon on May 20th! I have decided to raise money for the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre.
Some of my closest friends and hundreds of LGBTQ+ Londoners have been involved in the project that is so important for the LGBTQ+ community. LGBTQ+ people deserve a space that’s safe and secure to lay down roots. Having worked, partied and played in various LGBTQ+ venues throughout my career, I know the importance of these spaces.
The Centre will be a completely accessible, multi-purpose space, run by and for LGBTQ+ people. It will be open from morning until night for use by individuals and campaigning groups.
Please give generously for an important cause!
