Story

AM I CRAZY??!!

This summer, in an effort to raise more much needed funds for school, I am going to carry out a 5 day challenge in the French Alps. After a week of training I am aiming to:

CYCLE the Courchevel Tour de France mountain ascent

SWIM 5km (200 x 25m!!!) in a local pool called Aquamotion

CLIMB the Croix du Verdon via Ferrata (250m ascent)

WALK over the mountain between Meribel and Courchevel valleys, sleeping on the tops overnight

OBVIOUSLY, YES I AM CRAZY!

As a record of my exploits, pictures will be posted onto the PSFA facebook page once I have started. This sort of activity is weather dependent so keep watching

So that’s me done...unless we manage to get to £1500, in which case I will keep my promise, though I’m already wondering what I was thinking about...! Please do keep encouraging everyone to donate. We’re still a long way off being able to put anything in place soon, though I have various other fundraising ideas up my sleeve if we don’t get enough through this. And so for the relaxing part of my summer, which started this evening with a celebratory sparkler given to me by my lovely neighbour. Bring it on! x
