I am raising money for Somalia. Right now across East Africa drought and lack of food means millions of children and their families are facing starvation. More than 880,00 children are severely malnourished and desperately need immediate lifesaving emergency aid.

While the full impact of the drought on the country is still unknown. Humanitarian groups fear a full-blown famine will follow. Currently, almost three million people in Somalia face food insecurity. Dozens of deaths have been reported due to cholera. The disease is often spread due to lack of clean drinking water.

While the drought has been ongoing since 2015 and climate experts have been watching the warning signs increase since the fall, the emergency was not warded off. In Somalia, a lack of infrastructure means farmers rely on rains for agriculture.

Without urgent support one in five children could die. Please help me with this great cause. As a mother myself it pains me to watch images of these little children dying.
