Story
Passionate Usborne book ladies Claire Abbs and Jemima Tash are joining forces to raise money to increase the reading resources for children at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital. Stories can bring comfort, pass the time and help children visiting the hospital to feel a little brighter whatever situation may have brought them there.
We are inviting individuals and businesses to make a small donation to buy a book or books for use by children who need to visit the hospital - whether it be a short or long stay. On top of what we raise Usborne will provide lots of extra free books!
For more information about the hospital charity and how we are helping please contact Louise Cook, Fundraising Manager 01603 287107 or louise.cook@nnuh.nhs.uk.
Spread the word to any businesses, family or friends who might like to help us reach this target as quickly as we can - we would love to raise £300 in 30 days - that's just 30 people giving £10 each. Come on let's get lots of lovely books!
The hospital will select the books most suitable for use across the whole hospital whether that be in the waiting rooms or on the children's ward.
