    Story

On the 4th June 2017. I will be starting my bike ride, with my father in law Dave supplying the support. We will be starting from Lands End. and cycling to my home town Newry, in Ireland. I am raising money for two fab charities. First up Macmillan Cacer support. Macmillan nurses. Everyone knows the great work they do for people who are diagnosed with this terrible disease, they help and support people take back some control in their lives. Right from the moment you're diagnosed, through your treatment and beyond, they are a source of support, giving you the energy and inspiration to help you feel more like yourself. No one should ever have to struggle with this horrible disease.

My next charity is Autism Families. This fab charity provides support to families living with autism. They provide support, information and opportunities to enhance the lives of those in the Newry, Mourne and Down area who are affected by autism, this incudes the individual with autism, their parents and siblings. The lifeblood of they group is the Autism Families Club. This is open to all our children to promote social interaction, forming friendships and most of all, fun! They also facililate seasonal trips / entertainment for their members and host comprehensive summer schemes, with three events per week to cater for all ages. They focus on helping the whole family. They rely on funding from many local businesses and people fundraising on their behalf.

When I complete the bike ride The total amount I raise will be spilt between the two charities. So please, donate what you can. It will mean the world to me to know that people are supporting me and helping these brilliant charities along the way.

I'm always on the look out to push myself with every challenge. This time I'm going to do a bike ride from Lands End to my home town Newry in Ireland. Yeah its a lot of miles to do, but do you know what, the two charities I am doing it for are going to be worth all the pain.
