Story
Noeline is a disabled Ugandan woman who cares for up to 35 abandoned or orphaned disabled children in Uganda. She has been looking after these children in a small home with only 4 rooms and a kitchen.
Money has been raised by Medcare (www.medcare.org.uk) to build a new home for these children which will house a minimum of 40 children and will provide much need space and facilities.
Once the home is built, a lot of work needs to be done to complete the new home such as painting & decorating, constructing a children's play area and digging over the land for farming.
Employees from SPL International have volunteered to visit Noeline's home and help with these tasks to complete the home, as well as visit the local Wellspring Children's Medical Centre and a number of village homes which highlight the poverty and serious needs of Ugandan children.
This page is to raise money to help pay for some of the expenses for the volunteers to travel to Uganda. These expenses include flights, vaccinations, accommodation and antimalarials.
