COVID-19 is having a serious impact on the lives of women and children suffering from domestic abuse. Shocking statistics revealed that domestic violence has significantly surged since the start of the coronavirus lockdown, with a dramatic increase in calls to helplines. Now add the pressure of Christmas approaching.....you can see why we want to help.

Noonan Property Services are working with Cambridge Women's Aid, who provide dedicated and specialist services to women and children affected by domestic abuse. In particular they offer specialist support to children and their mums, via a range of interventions to support their recovery from living with domestic abuse, promote positive relationships and build resilience.

Services include:

- Information, advice and support online via Live Chat, Wednesdays 3-5pm, and Fridays 11am-12pm.

- Safe refuge in Cambridge city

- One to one help for women living in Cambridge City, South Cambs and East Cambs

- Advice for professionals supporting women living in Cambridge City, South Cambs and East Cambs

- Support groups for women to explore the dynamics of abusive relationships

- Dedicated services for children whose mothers/carers we are supporting

- Providing presents and other items to help families celebrate. Donations help ensure that no-one misses out, no matter what difficulties are in their life
