Weʼve raised £360 to commission new choral Christmas music by North East composers and record them with Voices of Hope.

Story
The North East has a thriving choral music community and a growing number of composers on the rise. Voices of Hope is a passionate advocate of North East culture and would like to record an album of new music by composers from our area in order to promote our local talent, whilst refreshing the seasonal repertoire.
We will be working with Ian Stephenson, Will Todd, Anna Appleby, Stephen Waller, Kris Thomsett, Fiona Lander and hopefully more...
The choir plans to perform the new works in concerts around the area, at Chrismtas 2018. We also plan to produce a volume of the pieces, for other choirs to use in their own Chrismtas programmes.
