Nourish provides support for families in Fife who have children with additional support needs. We do this by providing regular support groups for families to come along.

Everyone who runs Nourish is a parent/carer of a child with a disability. The children/young people who attend our groups have a range of disabilities such as autism, downs syndrome and life shortening medical conditions. Our groups have a warm welcoming environment and a chance for family members to meet and chat with others in similar circumstances and often facing similar daily challenges. We have toys and play equipment for the children and we also provide regular events for our families to come together and create support networks for each member of the family.

Our long term goal is to open a family support centre that will benefit families who have a child or adult family member with a disability. Families are telling us they want and need more support, such as groups aimed at different needs such as extra support for siblings, groups for dads, grandparents, and adults with additonal support needs. This is just a small list of some of the support we want to provide.
