Story
We are a student radio station who broadcast online for anybody to listen to. We are run by students for students, and we look to give our volunteers a safe environment to learn the skills required to go on and work in media. Unfortunately running a radio station is not a cheap venture, and from time to time we need to replace equipment, update software, fund training etc. This is why we are currently fundraising, to enable us to carry on broadcasting and to keep giving our student volunteers the opportunity to experience LIVE broadcasting in a safe environment.

6 years agoSorry for the delay in this post, but the radiothon definitely took it's toll on me. As a station we would like to express our thanks to all those who supported us over the weekend, and especially to those who have donated so far. NSU Radio is run by volunteers and funded by the SU which makes us a charitable organisation. We do have overheads, and when we lose an important piece of equipment such as the mixing desk, it becomes VERY tough to replace. With the support of people such as yourselves we will be able to carry on. WE THANK YOU ALL
