Weʼve raised £30 to bring electricity to Numwa School's classrooms

Funded on Saturday, 22nd May 2021

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

After successfully installing solar panels to run Numwa's borehole water pump, these rural schools and community now have clean, drinking water again. This fantastic news meant that the schools will be able to stay open over the dry season this year.

However, we now have an opportunity to install reclaimed solar panels on the classrooms where the school hope to run some donated I.T equipment and teach the pupils key skills in using computers. This is an opportunity that these 1,000+ school children have been dreaming of for some time.

We are raining £1,000 for batteries, inverter and an installer to reuse these solar panels to supply an electric socket in the school's classrooms. This could also provide some much needed lighting in the classrooms.

If you would like to help these children achieve their dreams of future employment and a sustainable life, then please donate to our project! No amount is too small and every penny will go towards the equipment required to install the solar panels on the classrooms. There are no staff or admin costs as this is entirely volunteer run. Thank you.
