In my spare time I help Syrian refugees on a personal (sometimes daily) basis helping them to apply for housing, show them best places to shop for food, make phone calls for them, fill forms, access local services and community projects... the list is endless.

Most of these people are living on the basic £73 per week and barely scraping by, let alone managing to save anything to have when their families finally join them.

My aim is to give them the oppurtunity to go and spend a day out somewhere together as a family, buy a bottle of perfume or aftershave, buy their children a pair of brand new shoes for once instead of a used pair, for a husband to buy his wife some flowers if he feels like it without having to choose between food or flowers, to go have a meal in a nice restaurant or any other little luxury they may desire. Any little luxury that we may take for granted every single day.

I am not connected with any organisation so there are definately no salaries or admin costs to pay.
