A group of Northwich Victoria supporters are planning a sponsored walk up to the top of Snowdon in North Wales on July 29th . They aim to raise funds not only for the Football Club but also for The Offside Trust, a charity set up in 2016 to help support survivors of abuse in sport and to make sport safe for kids.. This charity is close to Northwich Vics' heart as it was co-founded by Steve Walters, a Vics' legend having played 177 games for the Club in the late 1990s, and a survivor of abuse himself. Northwich Victoria are proud to display the Offside Trust's logo on the back of their home shirt.
The club itself was bought, and all debts paid for, by the fans at the beginning of last season after the club was put into administration by their former owner. The fans now own and run the club totally, relying on match day income, sponsorship and donations for the ongoing running of the Club.
All monies raised will be split equally between The Offside Trust and the Club, and we thank you for any support you can give us as we prepare for the walk.
