Story
Out of Hours Club Rutland (OHCR) is a local group for young adults with additional needs through which they can gather together and socialise, whilst enabling the opportunity to develop life skills and improve independence. Activities undertaken by the group involve trips to the pub, cinema, theatre, bowling and many other exciting days out.
The brilliant young adults are aged 18 years and over with a range of needs and disabilities, and are supported by a number of wonderful leaders and volunteers of a similar age. We are hoping to raise some funds in order to keep the group running smoothly and to allow the young adults to continue to participate in exciting adventures.
To do this we will be holding a number of fundraising events with one of our volunteers, Rosie, taking part in The Wolf Run (a VERY muddy 10km extreme obstacle course) for the cause.
Any support will be gratefully appreciated by all involved in OHCR including our committee members, leaders, volunteers, young adults and their families.
For more information about our group please visit: http://www.outofhoursclubrutland.co.uk and for updates keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages via @OHCRutland.
