£1,090raised of £2,000 target by 0 supporters

Weʼre raising £2,000 to raise money for the Reading Bicycle Kitchen, a volunteer org providing space and tools for the local biking community in Reading, UK.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Our great friend Oliver Kemp died tragically recently in a car accident in Italy.

Oli was an avid cyclist and lover of all things with wheels. Oli was a dedicated support and volunteer at an organization called Reading Bicycle Kitchen. A bicycle kitchen is a community bike project that provides a space where cyclists can get access to workstands and good quality tools, along with experienced mechanics to help them do everything on their bike from simple maintenance to a complete rebuild.

In August, myself, my brother-in-law Alex and my cousin Mark are taking on a 100 mile cycle ride through the amish farms, scenic roads and punishing summer heat of Pennsylvania, USA, called the Lancaster Covered Bridge Classic. This year, our goal is to raise money for the Reading Bicycle Kitchen, to help support the biking community and honour the memory of Oli Kemp.

Thank you in advance for your contributions xxx

First training ride today. 22 miles around Central Park and then home. So hot out there! Eight weeks left to build up to the century.
