Story
Hello!
During the last year I have been auditioning for drama school and I have been so lucky to receive a place on the foundation Musical Theatre Course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. This has been such a great achievement, and something I have been dreaming about for as long as I can remember, unfortunately the course has a fee of £9750 which I am unable to afford and due to drama schools not being government funded, I am unable to receive any financial aid towards the cost.Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to be a performer and over the last two years I have been training especially hard in order to be ready for my drama school auditions. I have always had a passion and love for Musical Theatre and I couldn’t think of anything else I would rather do in my life,While on the course at Mountview I would be trained in all three elements of Musical Theatre by industry professionals at one of the top accredited schools, I will be given the opportunity to work at an intense level and gain valuable skills and knowledge about the industry. My Parents and I are trying our upmost to try and raise the funds to allow me to follow my dreams but with their low incomes against the astronomical fees, it makes my goal just out of reach. I feel that during my first year of auditions I have achieved so much and with the help of Mountview’s foundation course I will continue to progress. I am completely over the moon about being offered a place at Mountview and I would hate to turn it down due to funding. I can’t really express how much it would mean to me to be able to accept my place on the course and any donations, large or small, that would help me climb this mountain of a figure would be greatly appreciated. I hope that I am able to find the funds to allow me to pursue my goal of a career in the Performing arts industry, who knows what the future holds but hopefully Mountview will be at the end of that long road ahead of me.
Thank you
Oliver
