Neil's innings was tragically cut short at the age of 34 by bowel cancer. Everyone who knew Neil will have their own story to remember a wonderfully talented human being. The Old Millfieldian Cricket Club will remember one of our founding players by fundraising continuously to help support Neil's daughter Allegra and promote bowel cancer awareness in young adults. Bowel cancer is the UK’s second biggest cancer killer however it shouldn’t be because it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. Nearly everyone diagnosed at the earliest stage will survive bowel cancer but this drops significantly as the disease develops.

Neil will be forever with us when we take to the field and the Old Millfieldian Cricket Club would like to encourage everyone to support this memorial fund.
