Hello friends, I've been working on a non profit organisation for the widows and families of cotton farmers in India and need your help.

This is their story,

Cotton farmers in India take out high interest loans to buy seeds, and are unable to repay the debt if the cotton doesn't grow, which is often the case due to a lack of rainfall in India.

In the past 18 years 300,000 farmers have committed suicide and families have been left without a steady income.

As a part of my university, we set up 'Once Upon a Doug', a non profit organisation in which the mothers who have been left widowed create handmade accessories to be sold back in the UK. We are currently raising money to travel to India to meet these women and see how we can improve and expand the organisation.
