Raymond has 2 herniated (worn and buldging) disks L4 and L5 and a trapped S1 nerve in his lower back. this causes constant spasms that result in unbearable pain down down his right leg the full way into his foot. he cannot walk properly and if he doesn't get the operation it will start too affect his ankle, knee and hip. he is on 3070 mg of drugs 3 times a day to cope with the pain. and even with all this medication he hasnt been pain free in over 6months.. on the NHS it can take up to 3 years -as an URGENT referral so privately the operation will cost £6000 and then seeing doctors will cost £1000..and will be available within a few months of initial consultation. He was also recently rushed to hospital as he lost all feeling in his leg and foot. The severity of the pain is getting worse..his mobility on days is zero as he cant get out of bed. Its starting to affect his mental health as any interests that he has have become almost impossible for him to do.
