Weʼre raising £200 to Help fund Operation Veterans breakfast club which combats social isolation & withdrawal for veterans.
- 15 days to go
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Operation Veteran is an amazing organisation that was established to help with the reintegration of our veterans back into society. Not only do they offer a breakfast club which enables veterans to meet and socialise and make new friends, they now even help support them with other issues such as alcoholism, finding employment, housing and another issue that is all too familiar... homelessness. They do not receive any funding and are only able to do the amazing work they do with the support and generosity of the public.
Throughout all of May and June, during the build up to Armed Forces Day on the 30th June, I am donating all commission from sales of my Darceys products to Operation Veteran to help them continue this amazing service they provide.
To hold just one breakfast club alone costs around £50... If enough money is raised to even pay for even just one of their breakfast clubs, that would mean its;
💜 One day a hero doesn’t have to be alone...
💜 One day a hero on the streets has somewhere to go for a hot meal, for comfort and support from someone in his shoes...
💜 One day where friendships can be built...
💜 One day that the hero who sits alone feeling he no longer has a purpose, may be offered employment... or housing...
💜 One day where that hero who thought about taking his own life, now has hope and a sense of belonging...
I would love to raise enough to give Operation Veteran enough to pay for even just #OneDay... I would love even more to be able to support them for more! Please help in any way you can. EVERYONE who places an order or donates via the link will be entered into a draw to win a Large Candle with a special “Thank You” label and a box of melts in a scent of their choice.
