As many of you know already I almost lost Oscar in December following a prolonged status epilepticus siezure he ended up on life support in Addenbrookes but carried on fighting he has since been diagnosed with epilepsy and have been advised to get a epilepsy siezure alarm that will allow him to sleep in his own bed and will alert me of any siezure activity allowing me to get to him and administer emergency medication if needed. By having this it allows me to be notified straight away so I know the exact length of the siezure, so I know when to administer emergency medication the first 5 minutes of a siezure are paramount if Oscar doesn't get his emergency medications within the 5 minute time frame he will end up on life support again and now that he is developing different types of siezures he is in need of a more complex siezure alarm that runs on his sats rather than his movement. This will help to prevent sudden unexpected death in epilepsy too by being able to give his medication as soon as possible.

UPDATE AN EPILEPSY CHARITY HAS OFFERED US A SIEZURE ALARM. HOWEVER I WILL LEAVE THIS PAGE RUNNING AND USE THE FUNDS FOR THE SENSORS FOR THE ALARM AS THEY ONLY LAST 2 MONTHS AND ARE £105 EACH! LETS GET LITTLE MAN A YEARS SUPPLY!
