Story
Osgodby Primary School in Lincolnshire are celebrating their 150th Anniversary in September 2018.
So, a small group of 7 cyclists are going to bike 150 miles over 2 days 17/18th September 2018 - Starting in Osgodby, Scarborough through to Osgodby, Selby & finishing at our local school Osgodby in Lincolnshire.
We wanted to raise funds for the school to help purchase an outdoor classroom along with another charity, Bloodwise which we choose in particular because of the direct impact it has had on one of the pupils & her family.
Ella Ross-Cowling was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL) in October 2012 when she was just 2 years old. She went through a very tough and intensive treatment which she completed in 2015. Ella is now 8 and thankfully doing very well. Her parents Mandy and Paul will be among the cyclists.
Another pupil Richmond Holvey-Hutchinson sadly lost his Grandad after a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on 18th January 2017 after he was diagnosed on Christmas Eve 2016. His parents Beth & Dean are also among the cyclists.
The other cyclists are:
Mark Carter who's wife also previously worked at the school.
Matt Boulton who has 3 children, Amelia and twins Jack & Mollie at the school.
Josh Colgan who's girlfriend has worked at the school & her 3 nephews have all attended the school.
Tony Bell from Parallel Flooring Accessories Ltd has kindly volunteered to be our support for the duration.
THANKS to the cyclists sponsors - Rase Steels, Countrywide Produce Lincs Ltd, Bionature UK Ltd , Willingham Woods Ltd & Parallel Flooring Accessories Ltd.
