For our caring, kind-hearted, loving angel, Emma.

On the 21st April 2018 our beautiful Emma unexpectedly grew her angel wings.

The donations will contribute towards giving Emma a magical send-off, a moment for everyone in her life to say goodbye for now to a beautiful, kind, funny and strong girl. Any donations remaining we would like to use to support her beautiful 11 year old daughter, Courtney, who Emma absolutely doted on.

Emma was loved so much by everyone who knew her. An amazing Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Cousin, Niece, Grand-daughter and Friend. Emma is the kindest, most gentle and loving person, she would welcome anyone and everyone with open arms without judgement. She was pure and her heart was made of gold. She was selfless and was just so kind and nurturing not only to her friends and family, but towards anyone and everyone. She had an abundance of compassion and empathy. Pure love. Emma truly is a magical person. The world was a better place with you in it Emma and the world will be darker without you.

Emma's Story

In October 2015, Emma was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She was inspirational from the beginning, her strength and determination to beat this cancer was something out of this world. Despite the pain, the fatigue, the changes to your image caused by treatment, Emma continued to smile even when she was most fed up and was ALWAYS more concerned about how other's were around her and helping other's. Emma mentally and physically beat the cancer more and more each day, and got the all clear.

Almost 2 years in remission went by. After experiencing a range of weird symptoms and just not feeling right, the doctors appointments and hospital appointments began again, Emma was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. History repeated itself, despite everything, Emma remained positive, courageous and everyone around her admired her positive energy and strength. This time seemed harder, the symptoms were harsher, the already awful side effects of treatment were incredibly tough. Emma just kept going, determined and she was so ready to beat cancer for the second time and return home to her daughter, family and friends. After an intense course of treatment, scans showed that there was still more to be done. Emma had a 3 week stay in hospital for more chemo and a bone marrow transplant. Every single day Emma's mum Jan was by her side and Emma had so many family and friends coming to see her which gave her so much strength and comfort. Throughout the 3 weeks, the side-effects kicked in, but Emma found strength in making plans of everything she wanted to do when she got home with family and friends, as well as looking to a more positive, healthy and happy future. Emma was due to come home on the Tuesday (17th April 2018), her bags were packed, she received her medication to take home and was ready to go. She was feeling optimistic and we all truly believed she was on her way to recovery. Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn for the worst and Emma had to stay in hospital to fight an infection. On the 21st April 2018, Emma's soul passed to a better and more beautiful world as she grew her angel wings. Her body might have lost to the fight, but we know that her soul and spirit would have grown even stronger. Emma loved talking about spirituality, angels, spirits and the afterlife, we know for sure that her spirit knew what to do and will find a place of pure peace, love and tranquility.

We would love to give Emma a beautiful send-off and support her daughter, who already shows the incredible strength and kind, gentle qualities that Emma had shown her. We know for sure that Emma will be the most wonderful Guardian Angel.
