Hello!
We are Outset Theatre, a company made up of 2nd year Drama, Applied Theatre and Education students at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Stella, Megan, Jack, Phoebe, Andy and Sally will be creating a piece of theatre to tour in schools around Swindon (where there is a distinct lack of access to arts and theatre). Our production will be educative, focusing on making a chosen theme accessible to young people. Following the shows, we will be creating workshops to further explore our theme, and open up opportunity for the young people to discuss what we have presented them with. We need funding to enable us to create a high quality piece of theatre, including sourcing costume, set, accommodation and a little van for us to drive around in! We won't be able to successfully create the vision we are beginning to form without the help and support of our kind friends and family, so we would LOVE it if if you could help us reach our target of raising £300! We will be holding fundraisers around Central, and will endeavour to inform non-Central friends of the specifics of our show as soon as possible.
