On the 18th of August our very own superhero, Owen, will be entering his first ever triathlon and taking on the Superhero Tri at Eton Dorney. Every superhero needs a sidekick so I will be dressing up and joining him and, as swimming isn't Owen's superpower, I will be taking on the challenge of the swim stage whilst towing him behind in an inflatable dinghy tied around my waist. Having cerebral palsy means that this triathlon is a huge challenge for him but he is training hard and is determined to do his best!

Owen has decided that he'd like to raise money for two charities that mean a lot to him:

Petts Wood Playgroup for Children with Special Needs - a wonderful place now in it's 50th year (!) that did so much for Owen during his early years and is so dear to us as a family.

Bradbourne Group Riding for the Disabled Association - the fabulous riding school that Owen & Miles visit weekly and where they have so much fun that they forget that it's actually physio!

Owen has set himself a target of raising £200 but I think that he's being far too modest and we can smash that target. Please donate what you can and help to keep that infectious smile on Owen's face.
