On 17th June, I will be participating in CELTMAN, which is part of the Xtreme Triathlon Series and considered one of the toughest triathlon races. CELTMAN includes a 3.4km swim, 202km bike ride and a 42km run through the Scottish highlands, enduring “cold water, strong winds and driving rain” and challenging my strong will. It sounds crazy but this has been my dream since finishing my first triathlon race.
I am fortunate to be able to make my wish come true but there are some people without this opportunity.
Zosia is 7 and a ward of the ‘You have to Dream’ Foundation (Trzeba Marzyc), which helps young patients of Oncology and Haematology to make their dreams come true. Zosia’s dream is to visit Legoland with her family, swapping her hospital room with toys, blocks and carousels for a few days and allowing her to forget about the disease, if only for a short while. This adorable little girl is bravely fighting a severe illness but, like me, has her own dream and I believe that together with your support we can make her wish come true. Together, we can do it!
