A stroke survivor myself, I'm Walking (with Pickle our Bichon Frise rescue), Cycling (on my trusty exercise bike) and Rowing (Pilatesing) +500 miles to support #StrokePrevention at a time when the Coronavirus is causing more Strokes among younger, otherwise healthy people.

3 years agoToday, Pickle and I took a bench rest! At 566 miles we're still going strong. And our supporters have so generously donated £1070 for #StrokePrevention. Our Community Challenge has just 2 weeks to go. Please please share our page with family and friends. Every penny counts.

3 years agoYesterday, 4 months after starting our Community Challenge, Pickle helped me pass my 500-mile goal to Walk, Cycle and Row and our generous supporters have donated £870. Every penny counts and we so want to reach our £1000 goal for #StrokePrevention when Covid has prevented lifesaving Know Your Blood Pressure events and hugely impacted our NHS. Please help us cross the barrier, and share our appeal via friends, colleagues and your social media contacts. Thank you!

3 years agoToday, Pickle and I walked a further 7 miles on our #StrokePrevention #Community Challenge in glorious sunshine along the River Wey. We celebrated with a pint and a snack at The Anchor. That's 470 miles towards our 500-mile goal ! Please, please share with your family and friends. Every penny goes towards #StrokePrevention in these difficult health and fundraising times ... and encourages me towards our goal.
