Story
We all know how great it is to sit in the glorious sunshine and watch a great game of cricket at Pagham CC. You'll be offered a cup of tea or grab a pint if the bar is open.
But behind the scenes it takes a team of dedicated volunteers to keep the clubhouse running. During the off season we are cleaning the clubhouse from top to toe and we have a list of essential items that need replacing ahead of the new season which include
6 plain white shower curtains and rings £3 each
2 large plastic bins for the changing rooms £10 each
24 strong coat hangers for the changing rooms £1 each
2 new wall heaters for the clubhouse £30 each
new light fittings downstairs aprox £100
oilcloth covers for the tables £30 a roll
a baby changing unit £50
kitchen mop & bucket £15
kitchen broom £12
dustpan and brush £5
pavilion outside clock £120
TOTAL £454.00
We accept any old coins that you find down the sofa, those funny plastic fivers and even great wedges of dosh you may think "hey guys have this lot!!" What ever you can spare we Thank You!
And as you know Pagham Cricket club is run entirely by volunteers many have done so for years - if you feel you would like to get involved a bit more - just get in touch, if its a skill or trade that you can offer? half an hour to help make the cups of tea? creative ideas or a planned makeover of those dreadful “flower beds”!!?? WE NEED YOUR HELP!
