We are Angie (homeopath) and Sally (psychotherapist) and we are going to Paris for a week at the beginning of November to work with refugees.

This will be our third trip supporting refugees. We went to Paris last autumn and Athens in the spring. We take with us homeopathic remedies to support refugees with both the physical ailments after months and sometimes years of living rough, deprived of food, warmth and shelter, being treated badly in some cases, injuries sustained along the way, as well as the shock, trauma, fear, fright and loss that many feel having fled wartorn countries, dictatorships, prejudice, abuse and violence.

We also spend time listening to people's stories, some of whom have never had the opportunity to tell anyone what has happened to them since they left their homes and families, so we give them the opportunity to be heard and witnessed.

If anything, the situation for refugees in Paris is worse than it was a year ago, and although it is no longer in the media, the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis has not gone away. People arrive in Paris, having braved untold challenges and hardship, only to find there is no welcome at all. Although many of them have nothing, no prospects, no apparent future, they try to maintain their strength, their spirit and their hope. But they desperately need supplies of basic items, clothes, tents, sleeping bags, blankets and food. The more money we can raise, the more we can help them with these necessities.
