I am raising this money to fund a wheelchair for my dad, he has a condition called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Due to the severity of his condition he is wheelchair bound and in constant chronic pain. His current wheelchair is heavy and a poor fit which makes it hard for him to use independently and causes him a great deal of addition pain due to these issues. The poor fit of the wheelchair is also now causing him additional medical complications with his spinal posture. The good news is he has been assessed for a made to measure ultra lightweight wheelchair which will address these issues and give him much more independence and a significant reduction in pain. We are so close to raising the full amount needed (£4500) but need just a small amount more to hit our target and get my Dad this new wheelchair. if you can please help not only because he desperately needs this help but also because he never moans, never complains and just gets on with life!
