Parkview Special School is a controlled co-educational school providing specialist nursery, primary and post-primary education for pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with a range of educational needs that can best be met within a special school environment.

The Post-Primary Department within our school needs to fundraise approximately £2,000 to put towards taking a group of 10 pupils to London, for a 3 night residential trip in June 2018. This will be a unique opportunity for our pupils to participate in such an experience away from their parents/carers. We also plan to provide a range of alternative activities at school for those pupils who are unable to go on the trip.

The House of Commons has sponsored us £1,800 to subsidise transport costs. As our pupils have very specialist needs, they require a high level of staff support which subsequently increases the cost to our parents. In order to make this trip accessible to the majority of our pupils, we are planning a number of fundraising initiatives over the next few months. After the parents have paid their contribution, we still have a shortfall of approximately £2,000. We need your help!
