Hi Everyone,

On the 31st of July 2017 I am taking part in the 'West Highland Way' Walk. This will take an estimate of 6 days, making that 95 miles in total. Once have completed this walk, I will then be climbing Ben Nevis mountain!

I decided to take part in this walk in hope to raise money for my dearest friend Kenny Williams, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease back in August 2015.

For those of you know don't know the real affects of this life changing disease, below is a short description for your knowledge;

Motor neurone disease is a rare condition that progressively damages parts of the nervous system. This leads to muscle weakness, often with visible wasting. Motor neurone disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), occurs when specialist nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord called motor neurones stop working properly. This is known as neurodegeneration. As the condition progresses, people with motor neurone disease will find some or all physical activities increasingly difficult. Eventually, they may become impossible and It's not clear aa to what causes motor neurones to stop working properly.

Kenny has been a close friend of mine for many years and I would love nothing more than to raise not only money but awareness of this life changing condition.

My target is £2000 but i will always aim higher!

All money raised will be donated to Kenny direct, to help fund him through his day-to-day life and give him as much support as possible for all on coming challenges and requirements he may face in the near future.
