My name is Paul Fowler I'm running the Peterborough Great Eastern Run on the 8th October 2017.
At the age of 53, running my first half marathon, I needed something to focus my mind on and decided I would try to raise some money for the Phoenix School in Orton Malborne, Peterborough.

Phoenix School, founded in 2004, is a designated mixed day Special School for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who have learning difficulties which may be severe or profound and multiple.

My cover photo is a picture of Spencer, who along with his friends, are always smiling because they love the Phoenix School, Peterborough.

The Friends of Phoenix School have over time raised many thousands of pounds to be able to enrich the lives of the pupils at the school. They have bought items such as mini buses, playground equipment,touch screen televisions, holidays and days out for the children.
This is a voluntary association and the school places great value on its support and the funds its raises.
