Story
I am hoping to walk 1000 miles this year for these three excellent causes.
I am currently suffering with Plantar Fasciitis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantar_fasciitis) and Acute Tendinitis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendinitis) which means every step I take is very painful and feels like I am being stabbed in the base of my heel, I also get pain in my Achilles Tendon which has spread out into my ankle, travelled up to my knee joint and has now reached my hip. This has been going on now for the past 15 months and is slowly getting worse. I thought if every step I take was going to be painful it might as well add up to something more than just pain for me so here I am trying to raise some money for people worse off than myself and am hoping you can help me achieve this.

5 years agoHi Everyone I would just like to thank everyone who so very generously gave money to help me raise funds for the three good causes I chose. In the end I managed to walk just over 2400 miles so almost two and a half times what I hoped to do. All monies will have reached their intended destinations within the next couple of weeks so it's just up to me to say, 'I couldn't have done it without you, so thank you so very much.' Especially those most recent donations from Mr Ian Pye and my Dental Practice 'Elgin Park' for their very generous donations. We have now hit the 15% mark which is great news indeed.
