For 30 years as a local church pastor I have been keen to encourage local churches to work together on various projects. Recently we have struggled to fund this work and, as I am retiring this year, I decided to enter my first triathlon at the age of 70 to help meet the shortfall. Recent crowd funding raised £300 but a further £700 is needed. Training to put the swim, bike ride and run together has proved challenging(!) at my advanced age.
