Weʼve raised £2,450 to support SWA Swindon Domestic Abuse and The Firefighters Charity. We'll be flipping a 70kg Tyre 10Km around the Fire Station on May 14th.

Story
With Covid 19 and lockdown measures, domestic abuse is on the increase. Both SWA Domestic Abuse and the Firefighters Charity are both in need of fundraising during these difficult times. 2 Fire Fighters from Westlea Fire Station are going to attempt a non-stop 10km Charity Tyre Flip to raise as much as possible for these brilliant charities!

4 years agoThank You everyone who has supported us so far - your generosity and support has exceeded expectation! Here's a photo below, courtesy of Google Maps, detailing our lap of the station, measuring 135m, so we'll need to do 75 laps to achieve 10km! Our calculations & training so far estimate it will take between 6-7hours to complete this.

4 years ago3hrs training completed today, not forgetting to stop and pay our respects for VE DAY. We made a distance of just under half way, so on the day we expect it to take 7hrs!! Thanks again for all the support, keep those donations coming!!
