BIG UPDATE!!

One of Lucy's incredible friends has since pledged a staggering £1000 donation if I am able to reach £1000 in sponsorship for this race!

This is a fantastic opportunity to help Lucy achieve an additional £2000 towards being able to buy her own ReWalk device and, after 15 years of paralysis, achieve her dream of being able to walk again.

Hi, I'm running in December to help Lucy get towards her goal of walking again.

At 18 she was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord condition and by 20 was paralysed and told she would never walk again. Contrary to what she was told, Lucy has always believed there was a way.

The amazing technology that would now make this possible is the Re-walk Personal 6.0, which is an exoskeleton that allows Lucy to walk again! It helps her to no longer feel ‘different’ or less able than anyone else. Below is short video from (the very determined!) Lucy.

I'll be running (and likely walking at times!) in the Hurtwood 50 to raise money for this amazing cause - any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
