Me and my colleagues in Diageo are taking part in a munro challenge and hoping to raise some funds for charity in the process. We are climbing 3 Munro's at three of our iconic distilleries within 36 hours.

I've chosen a local charity, Ceartas (which means equality, fairness & justice) who provide an advocacy service for people in East Dunbartonshire irrespective of their cultural background, gender, beliefs or sexuality. They ensure that the views and opinions of individuals are heard and respected, affecting in a positive way the lives of people using the service. Ceartas work with people who have particular support needs: Older people; Dementia; Mental Health; Physical Disability; Learning Disability; Addictions; Sensory Impairment; Acquired Brain Injury and Additional Communication Needs.

I'd like to support this organisation by providing additional funding for activities for vulnerable adults who attend their peer support groups. The groups take place within the local community in the format of a cafe & it gives folk the opportunity to chat to folk who are in the same position therefore can share experiences.
