My name is Paul, I am 41 years old and ive been in a wheelchair since I was 14, I was born with Spina-Bifida and for a short ammount of time as a child could walk a small anmount, Then at the age of 12 I developed agressive scoliosis which finally ended my walking days and put me into a wheelchair. Over the years ive had 3 wheelchairs in my life all privately funded through various charaties to help me stay mobile. Im now attempting to raise 3 thousand pounds for my latest chair as ive had my current one 13 years and its now very worn and tired, The latest models are much lighter and will be easier for me to propel as we as getting in and out the car. People often ask me why these chairs are so expensive, Its because they are made from the latest lightweight Materials and are custom built to the user they are also made in America this all adds up.
