Story

I had Cancer 3 times since 1981, carried on working through all the treatment .Now I am left with all the side effects of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, I had a rare blood disorder coursing me to have 6 bags of blood every two day's, resulting me having my spleen removed, then my teeth removed with part of damaged bone, later on in years I had to have 4x heart bypass with my hear relocated, the damage from treatment has now left me in pain every day, so to help me I have to use a electric wheelchair but I do walk more than use the chair, can not use walking sticks as I can't carry them and they also cause increased pain to my shoulders. Doctors have said the being in a warmer country I would have a better life making it easier on the pain. Why do I want to live in the Philippines??? I have known my Filipino wife since 1991, we have been married for 20 years, 21 this year, we have both always worked however me I have now been forced to stop, all through my illness I have worked only times when I have been stuck in hospital for months I could not work. It is the most sensible thing for me to do is to move to the Philippines as I would have a big support network of family and friends who would care for my, the pain would be a lot less there, also when the time comes when my life comes to an end my wife would have family and friends to support her, I would have a second chance to at least have a life, I have had a big fight to win the battle with Cancer that as also stopped me from having children and a normal life, my wife has no children because of me and I do feel guilty, however we both love each other so much, for me the Philippines is the answer for us to have a good life together, the winter here for me in the UK I am house bound and this is not life. We are a very nice couple who are always helpful and kind to people, I so hate to ask for help and it was very hard for me to come here. I don't know how to wire this and kept my story as short as I can.
